Beacon Therapy Associates, P.C. is a group practice corporation.   Together, our network of therapists serve clients in the northwestern suburbs of the Twin Cities: Champlin, Anoka, Brooklyn Park, Dayton, Elk River, Maple Grove, Osseo, Otsego, Ramsey and Rogers.

Shelly Davenport, MS, LMFT

Shelly is the founder of Beacon Therapy Associates, P.C.  She helps you discover and learn to listen to your inner compass and develop your strengths so that you can become more confident and attain the personal change, growth and happiness you’re seeking.  Shelly has more than 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. Shelly is also clinically trained in using neurolinguistic programming and clinical hypnosis in her practice.  She is a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and The American Psychological Association.

Janet Schlegel, MA, LMFT

Janet offers individual and group therapy, as well as workshops on “How to Let Go and Move On.” She also offers eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), a treatment method often used with victims of trauma or abuse, neurolinguistic programming and clinical hypnosis in her practice.
